Masayuki Inouye, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Masayuki Inouye is a board-certified otolaryngologist specializing in sinus surgery, thyroid, and parathyroid surgery, as well as all other types of head and neck surgery. He is vice chairman of the Seton Hall-Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

Dr. Inouye received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine, where he made the National Dean’s List and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University.

Dr. Inouye has earned several distinctions for his clinical and academic achievements. This includes consistently receiving top ratings on several health and physician rating sites (healthgrades.com, vitals.com, ratemds.com).
He received the Castle Connolly Best Doctors – New York Magazine award in 2015, 2016 & 2017. In addition to his practice experience, Dr. Inouye also has research interests in otology and was awarded the Merck Book Award. He has received the Golden Apple resident teaching award twice.

Brian Benson, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Brian Benson, M.D. is a board-certified Otolaryngologist – Head & Neck Surgeon and fellowship trained Laryngologist. He specializes in disorders of the voice and swallowing, as well as in head and neck cancer. He is one of a small number of head and neck surgeons able to offer minimally invasive, voice-preserving surgery for laryngeal tumors, and minimally invasive, transoral robotic surgery for oropharyngeal tumors.

Dr. Benson has helped to grow and expand the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center. He established the Voice Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, which he is director of and is the Chief of Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Disorders. He helped develop the robotic head and neck surgery program at the John Theurer Cancer Center and the creation of the Dysphagia Center at HackensackUMC, which is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of swallowing problems, the most common side-effect of chemotherapy and radiation treatment of head and neck malignancies.
Dr. Benson works closely with George Kaptain, M.D., Co-Chief, Neurological Oncology, John Theurer Cancer Center, performing minimally invasive endoscopic removal of selected brain tumors.

Dr. Benson received his medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and continued his training in Otolaryngology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Medical School (UMDNJ). Dr. Benson then returned to Columbia University for a laryngology fellowship where he received additional training in neurolaryngology, minimally-invasive laryngeal cancer surgery, swallowing disorders, and care of the professional voice.
